About La Casa Vecchia

We are a family run restaurant and have been providing fantastic food in a warm and friendly atmosphere here on the cobbles in Sandbach since November 1989. All our food is of authentic Italian design and freshly prepared by our excellent team of professional chefs. We use a combination of specially imported Italian ingredients mixed with the finest local produce.

This building is over 200 years old, having been originally built in 1770 as a home, located on the old market square and has later been used as the premises for a variety of businesses including a sweet shop and has been now home to La Casa Vecchia for over 20 years. The premises has also been influential in Sandbach's history having once provided a hiding place for part of the ancient Saxon crosses during Britain's civil war. The crosses are now restored proudly on the square, however parts are still missing from the second cross, their whereabouts still undiscovered.
